Rachael graduated from the University of Bristol in 2017 (BDS). She continued with further postgraduate studies and completed membership examinations with the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow in 2019 (MFDS).
Rachael has developed her skills through working in general practice in South West London and various hospitals including King’s College Hospital, London and Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup. She has completed postgraduate training across a range of specialties including Oral Surgery, Restorative dentistry and Paediatrics.
She enjoys treating adults and children with dental anxiety, helping her patients to feel at ease and ensuring their visits to the dentist are a positive experience. To compliment this, Rachael has accreditation from the Society of Advanced of Anaesthesia in Dentistry to utilise sedation for dental treatment.
Rachael is enthusiastic about research and quality improvement in healthcare and has presented her work at several National and International conferences, including the European Cranio and Maxillofacial Society Congress and the European Orthodontic Conference. She has published articles in a variety of journals including the British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the British Dental Journal.
Throughout her years working in a variety of dental hospitals, she has developed a passion for teaching and mentoring young dentists. She was chosen to present at the London and KSS Deanery discussing 'How to Maximise your Dental Core Training Experience' and is currently undertaking a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education.
Outside of dentistry, Rachael is a keen horse rider and has competed internationally for several years. She enjoys tennis and skiing and has recently turned her hand to cycling, particularly enjoying cycling holidays exploring her homeland of Ireland. Rachael loves the bustle of London and spends her weekends discovering new restaurants and coffee spots.
