Caroline Vaz qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St. Thomas’s School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2011. Whilst at Guys Kings and St Thomas' Dental University Caroline was credited many awards, including the Prize for her Elective Project, and was elected treasurer in the student Society. After Graduating Caroline has been working as a General Dental Professional in London, and has been with the team at Dental Clinique since 2015. She is interested in all aspects of general dentistry and believes in a preventative, ethical approach to achieving healthy mouths.
She has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry and strives to achieve beautiful smiles in a holistic and minimally invasive way. She is also very interested in helping patients overcome their fears of dental treatment through non-sedative approaches. Caroline always strives to build rapport with her patients, always taking time to explain treatments and discussing all the options avaliable. Her calm and friendly manner quickly helps put patient's at ease.
Caroline keeps up to date with the latest developments in dentistry through regular Continued Professional Development above and beyond that required by the General Dental Council. She has completed a Certificate in Restorative dentistry from the renowned Professor Paul Tipton, and is a past member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Caroline is highly passionate about achieving beautiful smiles and occlusion for patients, being certified for different orthodontist systems, such as Invisalign, Clear braces (c-fast) and Inman Aligners.
Caroline has a keen interest in promoting preventative dentistry in practice and in society, as is apart of the Local Dental Committee, which works with local MPS' in promoting dental health in the community.
In her spare time Caroline thoroughly enjoys travelling, and cooking. She works in Dental Clinique Mondays, and every other Friday.
